Manifest of Peace
For survivors, by survivors, researchers, and professionals worldwide
Manifest of Peace
Manifest of Peace was created from a deep conviction: that peace is not merely the absence of violence, but the presence of safety, dignity, and equality for everyone. Across the world, people are confronted with domestic violence, institutional blindness, and systems that fail precisely where protection is needed most. Too often, these stories remain invisible, ignored, or minimized.
Manifest of Peace seeks to change that.
We believe that true peace begins with breaking silence, with acknowledging pain, revealing patterns, and mobilizing people who refuse to look away. Our movement stands for loving determination, courageous action, and the right of every human being to live free from violence and fear.
On this page, you will find tools you can use immediately to contribute to global awareness and international pressure.
We offer downloadable letters that you can personalize and submit to UN bodies, ombuds institutions, human rights commissions, and other authorities. Together, we create a worldwide wave of reports that can no longer be ignored.
Why does this matter?
Because peace is not an abstract ideal, it is a daily responsibility.
Because protection should never be a privilege, but a universal right.
Because change begins when ordinary people decide to no longer remain silent.
Manifest of Peace is more than an initiative.
It is a movement.
An invitation.
A promise to everyone who has ever been made invisible.
Thank you for being here.
Thank you for taking part.
Together, we build a world where peace is not only spoken, but lived.
With love, hope and faith,
Team Manifest of Peace
Letter Municipalities gender equality Istanbul Convention
In a world where equality is still far from guaranteed, small actions can make a big difference. This letter was created to give you the opportunity to contribute, in a simple, loving, and effective way – to a safer and more just society for everyone.
You can download the letter below, personalise it with your name and your municipality, and then submit it directly online to your local council or alderman, no printing, no hassle. It only takes a few minutes, yet its impact can last for years.
This is incredibly important because municipalities play a key role in promoting gender equality, protecting women, girls, and other gender identities, and implementing the Istanbul Convention, which provides protection against domestic and gender based violence. By raising your voice, you help strengthen policies that place safety, respect, and equality at the centre.
Together, we can encourage our municipalities to act with more awareness, courage, and humanity.
Together, we can contribute to a world that is not only safer, but also softer, fairer, and more loving.
Thank you for taking part.
Change begins with one person deciding to act, and today, that person is you.
Your action truly matters.
Together we stand strong.
Letter structural failure to protect victims of violence worldwide
Downloadable letter for worldwide submission to UN bodies, ombuds institutions, and human rights organizations.
In many countries, victims of domestic violence are still not adequately protected. Reports are not taken seriously, investigations are delayed or never carried out, and support systems fail. When long‑term abuse leads to severe psychological harm or even suicide, it is not only a personal tragedie, it is a structural failure of the systems that are meant to protect people.
That is why we have created a letter that anyone in the world can download, personalize, and submit to relevant institutions: UN bodies, national ombuds offices, human rights commissions, NGOs, and other oversight organizations.
The goal is simple yet powerful: to create a global wave of reports that can no longer be ignored.
You can download the letter below, fill in your name and country, and submit it digitally to the organization you believe is appropriate. It only takes a few minutes, but your voice can contribute to international awareness, investigation, and pressure on governments to uphold their human rights obligations.
Why is this important?
Because no one should die from violence that could have been prevented.
Because protection should never be a privilege, it is a right.
Because silence keeps systems in place, and collective action can break them open.
Together, we can show that these problems are not isolated, but structural.
Together, we can ensure that victims are no longer invisible.
Together, we can build a world where safety, dignity, and equality are at the center.
Thank you for taking part.
Your voice matters.
Your action makes a difference.
And together, we are stronger than any system.
